Whether you envision a classic, posed look in full color, a candid, journalistic style in black-and-white or something in between, your portrait will always be unique to you. The details such as location, lighting and photographic style will be a collaboration between us, rather than predetermined by studio guidelines. This approach will bring life and animation to your portrait while ensuring a natural reflection of your personality.

We'll start with a telephone or brief in-person consultation to determine the type of portrait you desire. We will discuss aspects such as setting, attire, accessories and the overall feeling for your portrait. This consultation allows us an opportunity to create a concept for your portrait while getting to know one another before our portrait session.

You are invited to choose a special site or surrounding such as your home, a favorite beach or park, or, for professional portraits, your place of business. I have discovered many beautiful locations in Central Massachusetts, and am happy to recommend my favorite spots to you.
